A Gathering Initiative

The Gather 2030 Newsletter promotes a variety of “gathering” initiatives, as well as positive “defensive” and “offensive” strategies to strengthen our communities and the voice of the people.

The first flag wave will go down in the history as millions gathered on the overpasses, bringing hope, hugs and community.

We as Canadians had enough, and were inspired by the Freedom Convoy to stand up for each other and our future. This event changed lives. It connected people from each region and lifelong friendships were forged.

Weekly Flag Waves are Still Taking Place Across the Country #flagwave

Flag Waves Bring Positivity. Peterborough has a handful of dedicated Flag-wavers. We circulate weekly a poster to advertise.

People pass by and honk, wave, pull over and thank us, bring us milkshakes or coffee depending on the weather and show support on social media.

These initiatives are a comfort to those concerned with the direction of our nation, raising our hope and patriotism. It is a beautiful thing to be part of and a fun way to catch up with friends.
