Grassroots at its best!

Thanks you for all who completed the poll, signed the statement of support, attended in person and otherwise supported. In a 6.5 hour timeframe, the Gather 2030, PKGN recommendations opposed to Climate Change Action Plan 2.0 – Pathway to Net Zero project received 2620 views, collected 101 poll responses, 45 signatories, 30 attendees to the council meeting and 2 delegates.

The Peterborough and Kawartha Grassroots Network (PKGN) has formed to ensure the recommended sustainable development policies adopted and implemented do not deliberately or inadvertently infringe or restrict on the Canadian way of life: property ownership, single-family homes, private car ownership and individual travel choices, and privately owned farms, as may be required by policy recommendations originating in, or traceable to, "Agenda 21" the United Nations Agenda for the 21st Century.
