Peterborough a Powerhouse of Potential

Where is Everyone? Apparently, We are Everywhere!

Four network-worthy events were independently organized in Peterborough last week; 

A pub night, an art show, a book lecture and a barter and trade planning meeting.

This was a great opportunity to get out and gather the contacts of our like-minded community members.

It’s clear, we have at least 100 active Freedom People in Peterborough… and likely a thousand more on the sidelines. 

With that, we have the building blocks for a solid community, so It’s time to get organized like a community.

Think of clubs, churches and community gardens.

Imagine the potential of working together. Like a body that has many members, each with a unique role, so are we. What’s missing is coordination. If a simple church or community garden can coordinate, so can we.

Freedom Calendar Showcase ~ Tanya Richter and Trekking with Fire 

Tanya Richter showcased her fourteen Beautiful Oil Paintings inspired by Freedom Convoy 2022. Tanya’s artwork is available in  Freedom Calendar 2023. This event was organized by Tanya Richter, and promoted by Freedom Through Unity.

Book Lecture ~ Keene First Theatre (Ida)  "What the Hell is Going On"

Ida at the Keene First Theater hosted Spiritual Author & Speaker Donald Lee. "In this spiritual war, our strategy is love, our tactic is forgiveness, our weapon is non-violent non-cooperation." With 40 people in attendance, the lecture was streamed live on my Facebook.

Barter and Trade ~ Freedom Through Unity

With just 10 people present we found that between us and our local contacts, we have everything we needed to function as an independent community! (Including a Fire Truck!)

• Properties, Businesses, Expertise, Equipment, Tools, Farms, Emergency Responders, Veterans, Teachers, Librarians, Lawyers, Healers, Organizers, Artists, Musicians the list goes on...

The Peterborough Barter and Trade Show will take place July 15th, 2023 and hundreds are expected to join us. We are going to be just fine my friends. Many successful societies operate this way. They keep their resources within their network and are not dependent on the government.

What’s Next

Town Council Team and volunteers - The City is currently running the most ridiculous climate and housing initiatives through at Town Council. They do this with near zero resistance, input or interest from the public. To be politically active we need organized action. It’s time to get our delegates on the agenda, get our questions and concerns on the table and launch creative campaigns to have our voices heard. We have the numbers to make an impact locally. When was the last time we filled the seats in the Peterborough town hall meetings? Or had a rally during the town hall meeting? Or had our delegates speak and ask questions? If we want to make a change, we can!

Monthly Planning Meeting - We are looking for a location to hold regular monthly meetings and create local committees for Events, Rallies, Town Hall Team, Barter and Trade and Parallel Systems (Education and Healthcare) etc.

Monthly Family Fun Day - Let’s get our kids together and have some fun. Join us Sunday, June 25th at 1 PM at Nicolas Oval Park in Peterborough, playground, splash pad and pavilion. 

Law Workshop - Creative Solutions exist in Law to free us from the government’s radical policies. We may be able to buffer ourselves as a community. The more we comprehend some forgotten principles the less harassment we will endure as a community moving forward.
