You are invited to attend the KICLEI Take Back Our Towns Rally Friday March 9, Parliament Hill, West Block, on Wellington (at O’Conner) and the 1984 -Don’t Let It Happen Rally, this Saturday, March 9, Parliament Hill, King’s Gate, on Wellington (at Metcalfe).
MARCH 8 KICLEI ITINERARY:
Gathering: 11:30
Demonstration: against UN directive programs partnering with our municipalities.

Speakers:

Greet parliamentarians and notify them of our concerns as they enter and exit the house of commons over lunch.
Group Photos: Before the march. I encourage all participants in the photo op and/or march to carry a sign. There will be flags for each province provided to be carried on the march.
March: 1:30 pm - To Partners for Climate Protection office on Clarence Street and Byward Market.
END of RALLY - March back to the Hill or participants can stay on the Hill for a while before going to the Red Pepper restaurant (246 Queen Sr., between Bank & Kent) for another informal gathering (optional).
MARCH 9 ITINERARY:
(please note, our rally will overlap with a large Palestinian rally taking place at parliament hill, Saturday at noon). This may provide an opportunity to be featured on mean main stream media. Let’s represent are caused with class.
