Can you imagine the cost of upgrading everything to ”environmentally sound technology”? (hence the 20% property tax increases).
For what? Reducing greenhouse gas emissions? Carbon dioxide which makes up 0.04% of the earths atmosphere of which humans are responsible for only 3%?
Take your municipalities population which is 0.0000000000000#% of that 3%.
Put that in your calculator, and calculate the amount of carbon dioxide your municipality will reduce by implementing these policies,
YOU GET ZERO!
While an entire global industry of so-called green technology gets billions upon billions of dollars.
What’s the harm, I heard councillor Stone of Muskoka ask!
My Response, at what point DO you consider your fiduciary duties?
Canadians and Local Councils, if you’re municipality is putting out reports like this, you are signed up for the FCM ICLEI Partners for Climate Protection Program; voluntary program, that leaves local councils liable for its endorsement and implementation.
I RECOMMEND that Canadian Municipal Councils DIRECT STAFF to LOCATE the original motion to participate in this program so it can be brought forward for RECONSIDERATION and RESCINDED.
Definitely this 'climate agenda' is just that - part of the Agenda 21 (21st Century not 2021) to enact such economic impossibilities to push people into 'owning nothing' so the government (actually the NGO - UN acting like the world govt already) will step in and 'save us' so we will 'own noting and be happy' in our 15 mins cities, no cars, amplified 5G and SMART cities - in Oxfordshire they are already attempting the full 15 min city lockdown apparently.
The Green Climate Crime is in fact proven over and over just how unsustainable these 'Green Energies are, how much more costly they are and dysfunctional, not sustainable, reusable and often creates more energy costs and higher rubbish to deal with!
