We had an incredible event at the Kitchener town hall, and we owe a huge thanks to the organizers, Peter and Sharron MacFaddon of Vaccine Choice Canada and Elaine Scharlach of Action 4 Canada. Their dedication and effort made it possible for us to come together and discuss the pressing issues of our time.
The highlight of the evening was hearing from Donald Lee, the acclaimed author of "What the Hell is Going On?" and "The Way Forward", both available for purchase on Amazon. His insights were both enlightening and inspiring, offering a clear perspective on the current global challenges and potential paths forward.
I, Maggie Hope Braun, also had the privilege of presenting the KICLEI initiative. Our focus was on practical strategies to restore local governance in the face of global challenges. It's crucial that we work together to strengthen our communities and ensure that local voices are heard and respected.

It is at the Municipal level, where communities can come together to initiate real change. We all need to be more aware of what is happening at the local level. Town councils, Mayors & Councilors, have forgotten that they work for the people! Maggie Braun is one of the most courageous women out there, we all need to step up as she did!
I attended the Kitcher townhall on Thursday. I am happy that I attended. I found out about the event through a post on TheyLied.ca which was linked to the Canadian Independent. I, agree that people need to be more aware of what is happening at the local level. I have become more informed about is happening over the last ten years or so. The last 5 years have brought more concern to myself. I would like to find out more about what to do at the local level to stop decisions that are harmful. Thank-you for a wonderfully informative presentation.
