An evaluation rather than a critique. I question the wisdom of using the term, 'corporation' to describe a government that you clearly dislike. I too find it frustrating to label the Trudeau government, a government as this gang of opportunists does not fit the idea I have of what constitutes a legitimate government.
Personally, when I challenge this or any other governing body, I will call certain people dictatorial or if speak of a group, claim they have forfeited the privilege to govern, that the body has become unsuited for the purpose. Institutional failure is the terms I will use.

That said though, the move to become involved at the local level is the beginning of a solution. Involvement requires action and ineffective action is correctable. Inaction in turn simply perpetuates the status quo. allowing the violation of individual rights to run rampant.
I agree that the root of the rot is deeply imbedded in environmental control, with all of us needing to ask approval from an environmental lobby group in order to even be allowed to support our lives. Many people in the developed world have been lulled into thinking saving the natural world from mankind is beneficial yet they do so from their homes, with their computers, while wearing cloths and eating farmed food. The human legacy ids to modify the natural world for the benefit on human life. To revert to a nature existence would be, as said, by Thomas Hobbes, 'A life dismal, brutal and short.'
The false idea can't be sold in the underdeveloped world as poor people live fully in the clutches of nature ... impoverished without development.
If we're intending to "work smarter, not harder", please consider sending less emails/substacks for us to read!!! Condense things to once or twice a week? Too many of us have been doing our best to keep up but seriously, with the thousands of worthwhile groups there are, working smarter to me is to narrow things down to a select few and encourage those to send out less emails for me to stick~handle. Thanks for considering (I also think "working smarter" means amalgamating into one group to move things forward on certain campaigns, i.e. the Civis4Reform CATC councils!? Being able to easily/time efficiently see/know how all the CATCs are doing across the country would be huge ... instead of having individual groups like Gather 2030 attempting to do that which may be invisible to too many? I've already suggested our COAP (Cowichan Oversight Accountability Project) stakeholder group consider folding a CATC under their/our umbrella. PLEASE consider more time~saving ideas like this ... we're all tired because there's simply too much digital media to stickhandle!
