“Let`s Do a Deputation”
Inspired by John Dunn’s determination to address Peterborough’s Declaration of Climate Emergency, deputations took place June 26, 2023 in Peterborough.
John Dunn, addressed Climate Science, Video Link
Maggie Braun, addressed the Implementation of the Agenda 21 through Canadian Municipalities (Video Link) -After four years of covid mandates, executed by Canadian Mayors and CAOs, and Smart Cities on our doorsteps, these delegations went “viral.”
Not surprisingly, Trudeau flew in to meet with Peterborough Mayor Jeff Leal, CAO Jasbir Raina and the Peterborough Examiner, City Hall Reporter shortly after the June 26th delegation.
Small Town Success in Rural Council
On August 1, 2023, Maggie spoke to the Douro Dummer Council, regarding the U.N.-driven, Official Plan for Peterborough County, 2050. This plan would be “a death sentence to their township.” Sixty-five locals filled the room. Read Maggie’s Deputation Here
The councilors agreed that they, “Could not in good faith approve the Peterborough Counties Official Plan,” that the deputation stated facts and that it was time, “they stand and be counted.”
The next day, the mayors and councilors of Peterborough County met to discuss the approval of the official plan. This led to a robust and empowering discussion delaying the official plan.

Funny side-story… The night before speaking to Douro Dummer, I was at a cottage with some friends, and before heading to bed, stood up and decided to randomly threw a dart…bull’s-eye! I found it to be quite symbolic. 🎯 #letgo
