As someone who has been involved in the climate debate for many years (I began teaching about climate in the early 70s), it is disappointing to see obvious mistakes in an otherwise potentially useful document.

This point has been made in response to Meggie Braun's online video but the mistakes remain.

One glaring example is the claim that Carbon makes up 0.04 % of our atmosphere.

No, it does not!

Carbon is not the same as Carbon Dioxide. Carbon is a particulate whereas Carbon Dioxide is a trace gas in our atmosphere which is odorless, colorless, tasteless, and invisible. Carbon (the intentionally misleading term used by governments, the media, and climate alarmists to frighten naive people) is a solid like graphite, soot, coal, and so forth.

If Meggie's work is to be taken seriously, this correction must be made in all of her presentations. Otherwise, we lose the attention of the entire scientific community as well as others who know the difference.

Posting known mistakes is not in our best interests.

For any interested, I have two entire texts (Vol. 1 is ~400 pp. - still in draft form) which clarifies much of what is known about our climate. For a short time, I will freely provide a PDF of Volume 1, to any reading this post, if requested.

Correction to the above. The text to which I referred is almost 700 pages in length (typo above) but is set up in such a way that a reader can begin anywhere without having to know all that came before. Also, there is both an extensive table of contents and index to make finding information easier for the reader.

I will not pretend to know everything about climate as I'm a long way from that point. However, over the years, I've learned a great deal and am willing to share my information with any interested. Hopefully, in my own way, I can provide people with enough information to avoid being taking in by the fraudulent claims of a climate crisis or our planet is boiling and other ludicrous claims.

Also, if I have the information, I have no problem with answering specific climate questions from this group.

FWIW...

Please note that many of the links above are broken or unusable if you don't have Facebook. Specifically any link to Shelagh's website is broken. Would it be possible to update them? This is important information and I'd like to do more research.

I found the “funders and partners” on the C40.org website to be quite revealing.

I just came across this article. Great info! But all the links are broken, can you update , please. I shared this with others as well. Here in the States in my town a small group of us are trying to organize against out city offices. So the links would be awesome for knowledge. Thank you and YAHWEH BLESS YOU

I forget where I copied this. It seems ICLEI is owned - mostly by GOOGLE.

The ICLEI Action Fund is a granting scheme conducted by ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability with support from Google.org to foster data-driven environmental and climate action at the local level

Who is the real owner of Google? Google has five significant shareholders.

1. Larry Page has approximately 40.1 million Class C shares in Alphabet.

2. Sergey Brin is the second-largest shareholder of Alphabet with Class C shares that are worth approximately $38.9 million.

3. Vanguard Group, Inc. has Class C shares worth $22.6 million in Alphabet, making it the third-biggest shareholder of the conglomerate.

4. BlackRock, Inc. currently has approximately $20 million Class C shares in Alphabet as of the writing of this article.

5. T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. has $12.3 million Class C shares in Alphabet.

Google is a subsidiary of Alphabet, which happened after a restructuring process in 2015.
