The recent verdict in the Coutts trial has the potential to capture nationwide attention, yet it seems to be met with a conspicuous silence from mainstream media outlets.
And there certainly is much to be discussed. From what is guaranteed by constitutional right to protest. (Without the ridiculous charges of mischief)
The bi-polar nature of gun laws in Canada. Leading to what I believe is a dangerous mis-conception of lawful and unlawful uses of a fire arm. In Tony's testimony and interrogation he clearly stated that he would not be an instigator but that he was like a sheep dog "protector". Which begs several questions. How is self-defense a dangerous purpose for a weapon? While anyone authorized to carry a weapon is for the purpose of protecting human life. Where is the distinguishing line? I believe that the jury failed to properly apply the law in this case.

Indeed, much of journalism has accepted becoming a propaganda outlet for bad governments, which are those on the left, pushing us away from democracy and freedom while the sheep soak it up unquestioningly. This thankfully sheds a light that too often North Americans are allowing to flicker and diminish along with freedoms, of which speech is number one!
